The fourth match day of the Sport Chek National Championships helped paint a clearer picture of who will find themselves playing for gold on TECK Finals Day Oct. 10.

Seven of sixteen teams have booked their gold medal tickets with two finals already set. Ontario will play British Columbia for Boys U-14 Cup gold and Quebec will play Alberta for Boys U-18 Cup gold.

Competition is fierce in St. John’s as BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec all have a shot at top spot in their respective divisions in Jubilee Trophy Competition.

On the Challenge Trophy side, the semi-finals are set. Ontario will play Quebec and Saskatchewan will play Alberta. The most intriguing story so far has been the Alberta Foothills teams.

British Columbia Boys U-14 Cup player Jehmrode Kahlon led all scorers through three match days and his goal against Dartmouth FC today, his ninth keeps him at the top. However, Woodbridge Strikers’ Andrea Tyrrell put up five goals in Ontario’s U-16 Cup quarterfinal versus Manitoba today to give her nine as well.
