TECK Finals Day at the Canada Soccer Sport Chek National Championships will crown eight champions and 24 medalists on 10 October. Alberta leads the way with eight teams playing in medal matches (five teams will play for gold) followed by Ontario with seven, British Columbia and Quebec with five and Manitoba with three. Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador round out the 32 positions.
Quebec’s Royal Select Beauport will play for gold in both the Jubilee and Challenge Trophy finals. Meanwhile, Alberta’s Foothills will play for gold in two competitions and bronze in another. Andrea Tyrrell, with 10 goals for the U-16 Ontario Woodbridge Strikers, leads all scorers across all competitions and will play for gold against defending U-16 Cup National Champions Quebec’s Lakeshore SC.

Canada Soccer’s Sport Chek National Championships run 5-10 October 2016 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Lethbridge, Alberta, Vaughan, Ontario, and St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. At all age levels, the Sport Check National Championships provide a meaningful soccer experience for host cities and participating teams, as well as the players, coaches, support staff, officials, and volunteers.
