OSA Announces New Additions To The Ontario Team

The Ontario Soccer Association is proud announce the addition of two new members to the staff and the promotion of another. 

These additions will only add to an already strong team on the technical and administration side of Ontario soccer and will help make the game stronger in their respective areas. 

Dave Kelly – Regional Manager, Player Development (replaces the departing Carl Horton)

Since 2013, Dave has been employed by the North Toronto Soccer Club where he served in various roles; Technical Coach, Summer Camp, Assistant Director and in Communications. Dave holds a Canada Soccer Coaching B Licence, a Bachelors degree in Sport and Sociology along with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Dave will play a key role in the field working with Districts and Clubs on grassroots player development projects and will report to the new Manager, Player Development. Dave's start date is Nov. 15.

Billy Wilson – Manager, Player Development (replaces Bobby Lennox who replaced Mark Marshall as Manager of Coaching Development)

Billy is well known in Ontario Soccer as since August 2015 he has served as the Regional Manager, Player Development. Before arriving to The OSA, Billy worked as the Technical Director (Grassroots program) at Glen Shields Soccer Club. Billy has a Masters and Bachelors degree in Science, a Canada Soccer Coaching B Licence, US Coaching Youth License, OSA Coaching B license, Scottish FA Coaching Levels 1-3 and an accredited NCCP learning facilitator and coach evaluator. Billy in his new role will lead the Player Development program and report directly to OSA Technical Director, Gary Miller. Billy's start date was Nov. 7.

Lyn Wallington – Senior Manager, Operations

Since 2011, Lyn has worked as the Executive Director of the York Region (District) Soccer Association and from 2004-2011 she served in the same role with the Markham Soccer Club. Lyn brings to The OSA 13 years of valuable District and Club administrative experience and is well known within the soccer community. Lyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a certificate in Project Management. Lyn will report to OSA Director of Finance and Administration, Leonard Golberg and will work closely in the areas of Finance, HR, IT and Administration.  Lyn's start date will be Dec. 8.
