If you have ever wanted to help shape the future of the game in Ontario, now is your opportunity.

The Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) is seeking to recruit qualified candidates for a Transitional Nominations Committee, which will help lead to the election of a smaller and newly structured Board of Directors in June 2017.

The Transitional Nominations Committee will consist of five members, two of whom are current Directors of the OSA and three of whom are independent members. The role of this committee will be to identify candidates for all elected positions of the newly structured board.

The OSA is looking for candidates for the Transitional Nominations Committee who have diverse backgrounds with connections to professional, soccer, and other relevant communities in which to recruit strong candidates for the OSA Board of Directors.

Independent Members of the Transitional Nominations Committee must not hold a paid, elected, contractor, or judicial position with the Association, any of its Members, or any affiliated leagues, clubs or OSA Recognized Academies, or Canada Soccer.

Those who are selected to serve on the Transitional Nominations Committee cannot stand for election to the newly formed Board in 2017.

This is a volunteer position.

Individuals who are interested in serving on the Transitional Nominations Committee are asked to download and complete the Application Form (available in Word or PDF).  Once completed, please submit your application by email or hard copy by 4:30 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2016.
