Did you know that the OSA's Player Development Department offers Grassroots Coaches Workshops for all coaches at that age group? 

The two-day workshop can be hosted by either District Associations or OSA member clubs. It offers great insight to what is currently happening at the grassroots levels in Ontario as well as provides grassroots coaches with information, knowledge and resources that they can take back to their clubs to use when working with their players.

The workshop covers classroom topics such as implementing inclusive programming, the four corner holistic approach to child development, the OSA's Player Development Model as well as much more.

During both days of the workshop coaches also get the opportunity to use the knowledge gained to practice by running sessions with grassroots players. These workshops provide coaches with the opportunity to discuss grassroots soccer, share ideas with peers, as well as receive feedback from the Player Development staff. 

The workshops are open to both recreational and development coaches.
