The Ontario Cup is gearing up for its busiest weekend of the summer, as nine divisions are in action in both Tournament Round and Single-Game Knockout play. Headlining the weekend is the U-18 and U-21 divisions with the Quarter-Final Round. Teams winning this weekend will move on to the Semi-Finals set for July 19.

The Quarter-Final Round games scheduled for Saturday, July 5 are listed below:

U-21 Women

Third Round games are also being played this weekend in the Men’s and Women’s divisions, as well as the U-16 Boys Tier 2 division.

On the Men’s side, the division is heating up as the pool of teams remaining continues to diminish. Right now there are six Ontario Soccer League provincial level teams left, as well as the 2013 provincial and national champs Gloucester Celtic. These seven powerhouses have all managed to avoid each other this coming weekend, but once we get to the Quarter-Finals these teams will begin to face one another. The six OSL teams left are Scarborough Ulster Thistle, Caledon FC, Scarborough G.S. United, PCC Mississauga, Vaughan Azzurri, and Woodbridge Strikers.

On the Women’s side, this weekend marks the first set of games to be played for this division. The defending champions Scarborough GS United have a bye, but are waiting in the Quarter-Final round for the winner between Woodbridge Strikers and London Marconi.
