The first U-16 girls semi-final of the day featured Whitby 99A and King Titans 99G. This game was end to end throughout, but neither side was able to convert its chances, sending the game to kicks from the penalty mark. In kicks, it was Whitby who ended up on top beating King Titans 3-0.

The second U-16 girls semi-final of the day featured the Richmond Hill Raiders White and the Woodbridge Strikers. Richmond Hill got on the board first just 13 minutes into the game on a goal from Angelina Shatlanov, giving her side a 1-0 lead at halftime. Five minutes into the second half Woodbridge would equalize on a goal from Kenya Saunders.

Just as the game looked like it was going to kicks from the penalty mark, Woodbridge’s Brigitta Pulins would put her side ahead in the game’s closing minutes, securing the 2-1 victory for Woodbridge.
