The first half featured an impressive defensive display by FC United Milton as they rebuffed attempt after attempt by the Brampton Brams.

The Brams managed continuous pressure throughout, working the ball out wide and back into the middle. Each opportunity was met by a unified Milton defense, leaving the keeper with very little work to do in the first half.

It was more of the same to start the second half, as the Brams continue to push forward, looking for the opening goal. Milton countered the attack several times, with work down the wings but only a few resulted in real opportunities.

The Brams would open the scoring when they caught Milton napping on a controversial corner kick. The ball was played well into the box and Catarina Medeiros made no mistake, burying her shot between the legs of the Milton keeper.

Medeiros would add a second late in the half, as she broke in alone and made no mistake with a bullet of a shot.

That would be all they needed and the Brams would capture the Ontario Indoor Cup with a convincing 2-0 win.
