This weekend futsal teams from across Ontario will be travelling to Durham College in Oshawa to participate in the 10th annual Ontario Futsal Cup hosted by The Ontario Soccer Association.

This Provincial Championship has attracted 16 teams that look to make this year’s competition the best we have had to date.

Futsal has been named the official Indoor Soccer game by FIFA and is a sport which has received increasing attention from the soccer world.

This year’s Ontario Futsal Cup will see teams from all over the province, ranging from London to Ottawa. Teams will compete in the Under 13/14 Boys and Under 15/16 Boys Divisions.

The teams will play a Round Robin Tournament on Saturday, February 28 with the top teams in the Tournament advancing to the Semi-finals and Finals on Sunday, March 1 to determine the Ontario Futsal Cup Champions. Games start on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., and on Sunday, Semi-finals kick off at 10:00 a.m. and the Championship games begin at 12:00 p.m.
