SC Toronto Yellow Captures U-14 Boys Futsal Cup

The U-14 Boys Final featured two teams from Ontario's capital, with SC Toronto Yellow taking on Futsal Club Toronto.

SC Toronto wasted no time getting on the attack, scoring in the opening minute on a goal from Gabriel Lima.

Futsal Club Toronto would settle down as the first half wore on, eventually equalizing on a goal from Michael Walsh.

SC Toronto would gain the lead right back on a well-executed set play off of a free kick finished by Shawn Alves.

Just minutes later SC Toronto was awarded a penalty kick due to a handball inside the penalty area, which was converted by Eliab Kifletsion.

SC Toronto would soon make it 4-1 on a goal from Adonay Beshir.

In the closing minutes of the first half, Futsal Club Toronto would get one back on a goal from Jonathan Sanchez, leaving his team down 4-2 going into halftime.

SC Toronto would continue to poor on the pressure in the second half, scoring two quick goals from Nicolas Lum and Shawn Alves - his second of the match.

Futsal Club Toronto's Michael Walsh would also tally his second goal of the contest shortly after, closing the deficit to 6-3. Nicolas Lum came right back and added his second goal of the game, giving SC Toronto a 7-3 lead. Minutes later Shawn Alves would complete the hat trick to put SC Toronto up 8-3.

Eliab Kifletsion would then make it 9-3 on a shot from his own half, catching the Futsal Club Toronto goalkeeper off guard.

In the closing minutes SC Toronto continued to keep the pedal down, scoring twice more on goals from Kaya Dizon-Spence and Nicolas Lum.

Futsal Club Toronto's Joshua Muena would get one back late via a Penalty Kick, but it was too little too late. Congratulations to SC Toronto Yellow for its 11-4 win to take the U-14 Boys Ontario Futsal Cup.
