The Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) Match Official Development department hosted their first Advanced Referee Training (ART) weekend of the year, at the TFC KIA Training Ground last weekend. 

The first installment included presentations from Pierre Acouri and Sean Hornsby, Ontario's most recent National List successes.

And education included learning about denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity vs. breaking up a promising attack, tactical fouls. Also there was speed and agility training, Video and written tests, work on severity of fouls and other team building activities.

OSA Executive Director Johnny Misley and OSA Technical Director Gary Miller (pictured above) were on site to offer their encouragement and support for the program on Sunday.
