As a reminder, at the March 2016 Ontario Soccer Association Board meeting, the Board of Directors approved the OSA’s renewal of its agreement with Respect Group Inc. for another five years.
The RIS Activity Leader Program is the risk management industry leading education and certification program for youth leaders to recognize, understand and respond to issues of bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination.
Under this new agreement, The OSA will be expanding the education and certification program to further include more Coaches in our system as well as Match Officials.
Bulletins were sent (I2016-031 and I2016-032) at that time laying out the rollout of educational requirements.
Districts and Clubs are once again encouraged to educate their members on the educational requirements as part of this rollout.
The following is the approved five year program phase in process:
|U-13-U-18 Rec||U-13-18 Rec||U-13-18 Rec||U-13- U-18 Rec|
|Match Officials (Levels)||N/A||10||10||10||N/A|
