The Canadian Para squad left Whitby last week in positive spirits after a solid four days of training at the Rossland Road complex. This was the squad's last session together before they leave for St. Georges Park, England for the CP World Championships (June 16-28).
The team will play week one as follows:
June 17 v Northern Ireland
June 19 v Argentina
June 21 v The Netherlands
In week two, the teams will move into the knock out stages with all teams being placed. Match highlights are expected to be made available online at the end of each match day.
"The Canadian Para Soccer Team would like to thank the Whitby Iroquois Soccer Club for hosting us for four days this last week. The facility and all the staff were tremendous. Everything that we could of asked for," Coach Drew Ferguson said.
