Wexford Hi Profile Masters, hailing from Scarborough, Ontario, headed to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia for the Eastern Masters Canadian National Championship from September 24th to the 27th. With hard work and determination, Wexford came away with the Championship title.

Wexford started off the tournament by defeating the second Nova Scotia team by a score of 5-0. Fueled by the momentum of an early goal, the team continued scoring, kept possession, and moved the ball around in respect of the opposition.

In the next round, the Hi Profile Masters defeated Rebelles de L'est from Quebec by a tight scoreline of 1-0 to advance to the Gold Medal Game. Wexford Hi Profile scored their winning goal off a corner in the 35th minute. However, as one of their men was dismissed shortly after, the team had to battle with a man down for 55 minutes to earn the win.

In the finals, the Scarborough team faced Nova Scotia's Athens United, defending National Champions and Provincial hosts. The Nova Scotia team came out strong pushing forward right from kickoff but Hi Profile were not to be dissuaded. It was Rob Pugliese who netted the championship winning goal, and only goal of the match, and the team defended vigorously to keep their one goal lead for the title.  Congratulations to Wexford Hi Profile Masters for a well-deserved win!
