In the final match of the day at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre, FC Toronto Red delivered a composed and efficient performance to capture the U16 Boys Indoor Cup title, defeating York Jets Atletico in a fast‑paced and competitive championship match.

The match opened at a high tempo, with FC Toronto Red pushing forward aggressively right from kickoff. FC Toronto Red led the early run of chances, though none initially tested York Jets Atletico goalkeeper Jarius Rabano, who remained composed as his defence absorbed the pressure.

In the 8 minute, FC Toronto Red conceded a free kick in a dangerous area, but York Jets Atletico were unable to capitalize. A minute later, Tomek Dyczkowski attempted a long‑range effort for FC Toronto Red, but the shot travelled wide.

The breakthrough arrived in the 11 minute. Mark Panakal received the ball at the top right of the crease and struck a powerful, precise finish that left Rabano with no chance, opening the scoring for FC Toronto Red.

Despite conceding, York Jets Atletico refused to let the moment define the match. They pushed forward with renewed energy while continuing to apply steady defensive pressure. FC Toronto Red nearly doubled their advantage soon after, but Rabano made himself big to deny the attempt.

Rabano continued to play a crucial role for York Jets Atletico in the first half. In the 21 minute, Miles Branco‑Pivetta was nearly through on goal, but Rabano came up with a massive stop to keep the deficit at one.

Just before halftime, FC Toronto Red found another breakthrough. In the 24 minute, Dyczkowski broke deep into the York Jets Atletico end, received a perfectly weighted feed with no defenders closing him down, and calmly finished past Rabano in a one‑on‑one to extend the lead to 2–0.

Shortly after the restart, FC Toronto Red struck again. In the 28 minute, Eric Desjardins delivered a cross into the box that Dyczkowski redirected in front of goal, securing his second of the match and giving FC Toronto Red a commanding 3–0 lead.

Despite the deficit, York Jets Atletico continued to show determination and resilience, pressing forward in search of a response. However, FC Toronto Red maintained the upper hand in possession and control of the match.

In the 36 minute, York Jets Atletico created a promising opportunity when a long feed from defence found Jayden Lanes, who attempted to head the ball goalward. The effort was comfortably handled by FC Toronto Red goalkeeper Jasper Krasek.

The scoreline nearly stretched further in the 40 minute when Sebastian Leitner found space in front of goal for FC Toronto Red, but Rabano once again produced an excellent save to deny the chance.

York Jets Atletico continued to push late into the match. In the 47 minute, Thiago Fleitas Torro came close to pulling one back, but his shot drifted wide. Two minutes later, Rabano joined the attack and fired a shot in an effort to close the gap, though it sailed high.

FC Toronto Red managed the remaining minutes calmly, seeing out the match to secure the victory and the U16 Boys Indoor Cup title. Their clinical finishing and defensive organization proved decisive against a York Jets Atletico side that battled relentlessly until the final whistle.
