Building on the enormous success of the 2024 series, our Premier Partners Circle K and Ontario Soccer are thrilled to be delivering another series of festivals during the 2025 Outdoor Season.
The Circle K 2v2 Festival Series revives the innovative small-sided game format for girls and boys in the dual-banded U8/U9, as well as U10/11 age cohorts to maximize their fun, as well as touches on the ball and decision-making opportunities over a one-hour period on a specially divided soccer field to accommodate 16 games at the same time!
Teams of two will enjoy about 40 minutes of playing time, rotating in a ladder style play every 5 minutes with 3-minute breaks, as well as icebreakers, sideline contests, swag, prizes and refreshments. Game leaders will ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants and guide participants through festival play. In addition to playing in the 2v2 format event, participants will receive a water bottle, T-shirt, and more!
Open to both Ontario Soccer registered and new community participants, this LTPD aligned grassroots format creates a great environment for young players to be active, make friends and foster a love for the game, while also learning more about Ontario Soccer’s District member Clubs that have graciously stepped up as co-hosts.
This series of 2v2 grassroots festivals will be held as one-day events throughout the outdoor season in six locations across Ontario:
For the second year Ontario Soccer will deliver the Circle K Festival program with an extended focus on accessibility. Three Clubs will deliver a festival format that empowers athletes with a disability to join in the fun. Guided by Soccability Canada , the country's leading experts on disability soccer, each co-host Club will receive an event plan to ensure maximum inclusion and participant fun. This years Circle K All Abilities Festivals will be at three different locations across Ontario:
The cost for attending these one-of-a-kind events is FREE, compliments of our proud Premier Partners Circle K. See our web page to learn more about how Circle K is fueling grassroots soccer in an empowering and inclusive manner! While the events are co-hosted by a Club, registration is open to all members of the general public (Canadian residents only), as well as Ontario Soccer Members within the applicable age categories.
