Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce that it has selected PowerUp Sports, a leading Canadian sports technology company, based out of Toronto, Ontario, as its official technology partner and Member Registration System of Choice. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in the modernization of Ontario Soccer’s administrative infrastructure, bringing unified, secure, and intuitive registration experience to member organizations across the province.

As the governing body for soccer in Ontario, Ontario Soccer supports over 500,000 participants across Clubs, Districts, and League organizations. After a comprehensive review process, PowerUp Sports was selected based on its proven ability to deliver scalable, compliant, and deeply integrated registration technology tailored to the needs of the Canadian soccer ecosystem.

"Ontario Soccer is committed to leading the growth and development of the game through innovation and collaboration,” said Johnny Misley, CEO of Ontario Soccer. "PowerUp Sports offers a made-in-Ontario solution that reflects the complexity and ambition of our sport as we gear up for membership-wide growth from the upcoming FIFA World Cup 26TM being hosted in Canada. This partnership allows us to streamline operations, enhance compliance, and deliver an exceptional experience to every participant in Ontario.”

PowerUp’s platform offers an all-in-one solution for:

  • Player, Coach, and Official Registration
  • Secure Online Payments and KYC Compliance
  • Club and District Management Tools
  • Integrated Waivers, Age Verification, and Consent Tracking
  • Real-Time Reporting and Provincial Oversight

“We’re incredibly proud to be named Ontario Soccer’s technology partner of choice,” said Robert Meth, CEO of PowerUp Sports. “Our mission has always been to simplify sport administration so that organizations can focus on what matters most — the game itself. We look forward to working closely with Ontario Soccer and its members to support the future of soccer in the province.”

The planned rollout of PowerUp will begin later this year, with Clubs and Districts strongly encouraged to onboard PowerUp in preparation for a November 1, 2025 launch of the new platform starting with the 2026 Outdoor Season. Ontario Soccer and PowerUp will offer dedicated onboarding support, training webinars, and resource materials to ensure a smooth and efficient transition for all stakeholders.
