Toronto's 9 de Octubre FC Claims Silver

Ontario’s 9 de Octubre FC made a powerful run through the men’s tournament, ultimately securing the silver medal after a thrilling Final against Québec’s Atlético Gatineau on Sunday.

The two undefeated sides met in a highly anticipated clash that lived up to expectations. Atlético Gatineau, in their tournament debut, edged out the two-time defending champions 3-2 in a match that saw non-stop action before a packed house of supporters.

The Toronto-based squad had dominated Group A with three convincing wins, racking up 32 goals and conceding just five. 9 de Octubre’s performance in Regina reinforced their status as a futsal powerhouse in Canada and a consistent threat on the national stage.

Windsor Caboto SC Claim Bronze

Windsor Caboto SC delivered an impressive showing at the Women’s Futsal Canadian Championship, finishing third overall and bringing home the bronze medal for Ontario.

After advancing out of Group A with strong wins over Calgary and Nunavut, the team fell just short against eventual champions Saskatoon Impact FC in a high-scoring 8–6 thriller. Windsor rebounded on Finals Day with a convincing 6–2 victory over Yukon Selects FC in the third-place match.

With 41 goals scored across five matches, Windsor Caboto SC proved themselves an attacking force to watch and a promising representative of Ontario’s growing futsal scene.
