"We are very pleased to announce another group of clubs who have met the Standards for Quality Soccer as well as those who have achieved a higher category of recognition," said Dave Nutt, Canada Soccer's Director of Development. "We also recognize a significant number of clubs who have renewed or are maintaining their licence and continue to embody operational and technical excellence. We appreciate our licensed clubs’ commitment to providing safe, fun, accessible and inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programming, which are the principles that underpin the Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licensing Program. Canada Soccer would like to thank our Member Associations for their support in implementing the Club Licensing Program as well as the clubs for their hard work in raising the standards of soccer in Canada."

The Member Association Level 2 (MA2) of the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program identifies organizations committed to achieving the highest expectations of the Grassroots, Community, and Competitive Streams and targets those with aspirations of moving in to the Development/Performance Stream. Organizations achieving the Provincial Youth Club Licence – Level 2 are making an enhanced commitment across each of the pillars, which requires significant resources to achieve.

Quality Soccer Provider (QSP) is the entry-level category in Canada Soccer’s Club Licensing Program. To attain the designation of a QSP member, organizations must create an environment that is developmentally suitable, safe, enjoyable, easily accessible, inclusive, and inviting for players and families, which sets their programs apart from non-affiliated soccer activities and informal play. Furthermore, QSPs are obligated to maintain good standing with their governing bodies and adhere to the criteria set forth for membership.

The QSP designation is a mandatory component of membership with Canada Soccer. Its purpose is to guarantee that all member organization Clubs adhere to the standards outlined in Canada Soccer's Safe Sport Roster. This roster received unanimous approval at the 2019 Canada Soccer Annual Meeting of the Members.
