Canada Prepares for Nations League Challenge

Canada will kick off their campaign against Mexico on Thursday, March 20, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles (10:30 PM ET / 7:30 PM PT). Depending on results, they will play either the Final or Third-Place Match on March 23.

We’re ready for another big challenge for this group heading into a competitive tournament. The depth in the squad has improved significantly, leaving us some tough roster decisions. However, we know that this group of players will give us an outstanding opportunity to compete for the trophy.

— Jesse Marsch, Canada Men’s National Team Head Coach

Ontario’s Presence in the Canada Squad

The squad features a strong Ontario influence, with 12 players hailing from the province. From Oakville to Ottawa and beyond, these players have developed through local clubs before making their mark on the international stage, including Promise David, who is an Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) graduate from Vaughan SC.
