Martin Wiklund, Founder and CEO of Sportswik, emphasized the platform's vision of democratizing soccer media: “The power of this digital platform lies in its ability to allow any game at any level to get the same type of coverage as the big games. All you need is someone with a smartphone, who is passionate for their team and their game, and the platform brings personalized and localized soccer coverage to every fan, family, and community. With this platform, we empower Districts, Leagues, Clubs, and Teams with easy-to-use tools to own their media presence, build their own stories, and create content that truly resonates with their fans. This represents a major shift in how soccer communities interact and engage with the game.”

The platform unlocks powerful monetization opportunities for soccer organizations at every level. Through custom-branded media sites for Districts, Leagues, Clubs, and Teams, these groups can generate new revenue streams by selling advertising space, offering exclusive content, and connecting with fans in innovative ways. The flexibility of the platform also allows for sponsors to directly engage with soccer stakeholders, creating a win-win situation for both organizations and businesses.
One of the standout features of MySoccer Powered by BMO is its ability to create personalized content feeds for every user. Fans will be enabled to create and receive content tailored to their specific roles and interests—whether they are players, coaches, team managers, parents, or spectators. With curated schedules, match updates, and player stats, fans can enjoy a customized experience that keeps them connected to the teams and players they care about most.
MySoccer Powered by BMO integrates features designed to foster fan engagement and enhance the overall experience. Fans can cheer for their teams, contribute content, and celebrate milestones in real time. Social media integration encourages sharing, while gamification features keep the community involved and invested in every match and achievement.
As part of its initial 2025 pilot introduction phase, MySoccer Powered by BMO is anchored around collaborations with the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) and Ontario Soccer League (OSL), with select partners helping to refine and test the platform before its full launch in 2026.
