Canada Soccer has announced the 22 players who will represent Canada’s Men’s U-17 National Team at their upcoming training camp in Costa Rica, with 7 Made In Ontario athletes

Play. Inspire. Unite.

This November camp includes a two-game friendly series, where Canada will face Costa Rica on November 15 and Mexico on November 18 in San José.

Two highly competitive matches will allow us to build a strong foundation with the players before the World Cup Qualifiers in February. I’m looking forward to working with this group of players and building toward success.

Men’s U-17 Head Coach Mike Vitulano

The camp and friendly matches provide Canada’s U-17 team with a vital opportunity to prepare for the 2025 Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers. Canada is set to compete in Group A alongside Bermuda, Curaçao, Anguilla, and Turks and Caicos Islands. Group-stage matches will be held from February 7-16, 2025, in Bermuda. In this single-round format, each team will play each group opponent once, with the group winner advancing to the newly expanded 48-team FIFA U-17 World Cup™ in Qatar.

The Canada Men’s U-17 roster for the Costa Rica camp brings together promising players from both domestic academies and international clubs. With representation from teams across Canada, the United States, and Europe, this diverse roster aims to build team cohesion and gain experience in high-level competition.
