Also of note in this announcement, Made in Ontario CANWNT alumna and Northern Super League founder Diana Matheson is featured as part of the interim CANWNT coaching staff, serving in a support role for the squad.

The match is scheduled for Friday, October 25, at Estadio Francisco de la Hera in Spain, with kickoff at 16:00 ET / 13:00 PT. Canada will look to improve on previous results against Spain, with their most recent encounter ending in a narrow 1-0 loss at the Arnold Clark Cup in 2022.
