Congratulations to Burlington SC and Whitecaps London whose squads represented Ontario and medalled at the Masters regional competitions.

After being crowned the Masters Provincial Champions earlier this season, each team advanced to different regional competitions being held on opposite sides of the country. Burlington travelled to St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador for the Men’s Masters East championship, while Whitecaps London's travelled out west to Surrey, British Columbia for the Women's Masters.

In St. John’s, the gold medal match saw Burlington SC battle fiercely against their counterparts from Quebec, ending in a thrilling 3-3 draw. Despite their determined effort, Burlington narrowly missed out on first place, falling short on goal difference to claim the silver.

Meanwhile, Whitecaps London secured the bronze medal in the Women’s Masters after a convincing victory over Manitoba in their final match.

These performances reflect the resilience and quality of soccer from Ontario, as both teams finished on the podium this year among some of the country’s best.

Shout out to Burlington SC and Whitecaps London on their outstanding achievements this season!
