As you’re probably aware, the Canadian women’s national team are the reigning Olympic champions.

But what you may not know, is that Tokyo 2020 was the second time that Canada had topped the podium at an Olympic Games in soccer. The Canadian men’s team also won gold at the 1904 Olympics in St. Louis, inspiring a modern club over a century later in what is now Cambridge, Ontario.
