As we reflect on the U15 National Championships that were held earlier this month in Waterloo, Ontario Soccer would like to congratulate the 31 Match Officials that were appointed to the competition.

Much like the players and teams at the Nationals, Match Officials must earn the right to officiate games at this higher level by reaching benchmarks in their education, training and development, and through their match performances throughout the year.

Ontario Soccer applauds the Match Officials below for the hard work and dedication they bring to the game. We look forward to working with you in your continued development as Match Officials!

Congratulations

Lastly, we want to say a big thank you to Marlene Ford for her role with the Local Organizing Committee and Tony Camacho who served as the Director of Officials for the event.

Match Officials are a vital part of our game, as without them, games cannot take place. Ontario Soccer is eternally grateful to all those who have officiated, and are committed to making the game of soccer in Ontario safe for all participants, including our Officials.

SPECIAL SHOUT OUT!

Over in Halifax, ECOSA's Beth McClelland had the chance to officiate at the Seniors National Event, which happened at the same time as the U15's. Beth is in Canada Soccer's Women's Program as an Assistant Referee.

Thanks for your contributions and congratulations on this milestone, Beth!
