The threat of a storm was ever-present throughout the MilkUP Ontario Cup U18 Boys Final, but Power FC-Toronto refused to let the gloomy conditions steal their thunder.
The team had a 3-0 victory over Vaughan SC, with goals from #10 Romeo Rexhepaj in the 19th minute, #21 Shoei Hayakawa in the 64th minute and #11 Callum Yuille in the 84th.
It was a great effort from both sides, but Power FC-Toronto outduelled Vaughan SC in terms of accuracy. The Toronto team took nine total shots with five on target. Vaughan, on the other hand, made 20 total attempts, 13 on target, but couldn’t manage to land a shot.
Thunder roared repeatedly throughout the match, but luckily for the U18 Boys, rain held off until the final minutes of play.
