It was Burlington Force against Woodbridge Strikers in the opening match of the years MilkUP Ontario Cup at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan. Sunday began on a high note for the Burlington Force as they defeated the Woodbridge Strikers by a dominant 7-0. 

Della Weir opened the scoring for the day with a goal in the 19th minute. By halftime, Burlington managed to put away an additional three goals. 

Weir scored a total of three goals throughout the match. Her teammate, Ava Boyd, also scored a hat trick against Woodbridge with Felicity Albano contributing a goal for Burlington. 

Burlington maintained possession of the ball for the majority of the game, taking a total of 16 shots. Woodbridge’s Naima Charles managed the only attempt for the Strikers.
