The third of five Central Venue Weekends in the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) took place this weekend in four locations: Markham, Pickering, Mississauga and Vaughan. Here are some highlights from the festivities in Mississauga, at Mattamy Sports Park.
Central Venue Weekends are an opportunity for teams to participate in localized locations, with the opportunity to be scouted. Central Venue Weekends are also referred to as “ID Weekends.”
The 2023 OPDL season continues with Week 11 which has roughly 100 games slated to take place around the province. The OPDL’s fourth Central Venue Weekend will take place August 12-13, with an additional two scheduled to take place throughout the year as listed below.
