Ontario Soccer and Hudl announced a partnership today where Hudl will provide the provincial association with its industry-leading video analysis tools, as well as with a comprehensive video exchange platform for the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL). This platform has launched in conjunction with the current 2023 OPDL season.

“With the usage of video analysis becoming ever more prominently integrated into the talent development process, partnering with Hudl as the industry leader in this space marks a massive leap forward for Ontario Soccer,” said Matt Ferreira, Director of Development, Ontario Soccer. “Hudl’s advanced technology and services, including video exchange platform and video analysis, will be instrumental to elevate our development practices within the OPDL, our Provincial Xcel program and, ultimately, a broader cross-section of our Talented Pathway.”

Hudl’s extensive suite of tools serves as an affordable solution for teams to analyze footage captured of their matches as well as training sessions. Through this partnership, Ontario Soccer members will receive exclusive pricing on Hudl products and gain access to Hudl educational platforms. Clubs, teams and players who utilize the Hudl platform will also be equipped with video and data analysis tools that support player development and can assist in the college recruitment process.

"Hudl values relationships with leading organizations in sports, and Ontario Soccer is a model program to work with,” said Rachel Krasnow, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Hudl. “This partnership is a natural alignment between our two organizations, providing Ontario Soccer athletes and coaches the tools they need to succeed. Ontario Soccer has an impressive track record of providing high-caliber development opportunities for its members, propelling them to the highest level in the sport, and I’m confident our data and recruiting tools will help them reach their goals.”

Through this partnership, Ontario Soccer expands upon its focus to provide member clubs with tools and educational resources that will enhance the youth soccer experience. By partnering with Hudl, Ontario Soccer also joins a highly notable roster of top soccer governing bodies, clubs and leagues around the world that use the platform.
