Staging a triumphant comeback after a three-year pandemic hiatus, this marquee event is in its third year in Canada. In this edition, the winners will represent Canada at the Gatorade 5v5 Global Final in Istanbul, Turkey in June 2023. The winners of the Global Finals will receive, for the entire team, tickets to the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul, Turkey, scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2023.

This year’s event will take place at the Pickering Soccer Centre from April 15 to 16 and is open to male and female teams comprised of players born in 2007 and 2008. The male tournament will take place on April 15 and the female tournament will take place on April 16.

In order to compete in the local qualifier and Global Finals, all teams will need to be comprised of players that are at least 14 years old by March 1, 2023, and no more than 16 years old by May 28, 2023 (in compliance with Global Finals rules). Please note players born outside of these years will not be eligible to participate in the event.

Teams will consist of six (6) players (five outfield players and one goalkeeper), and play a minimum of three, twenty-minute games. Registration for the event will close March 31, 2023, or when available spots run out.

Team registration is $500, and limited team spots remain.
