In an evenly matched game of the 2023 Ontario Indoor Cup Finals, it was London Alliance FC against Erin Mills in the Girls U18 Finals.

The game started off quickly with Erin Mills’ Mera Saleh taking a long range-shot that was easily saved by London Goalkeeper Adrianna Borm, within the first couple seconds of the opening kick off.

London's first clear chance came in the sixth minute, from a shot from Ella Cahill that went wide after hitting an Eagles defender.

Each team would trade half chances through the remainder of the half, but both keepers would stand strong and keep the game 0-0 into the half-time break.

Contrary to the first half, it was London who applied the early pressure which resulted in an early chance from Ava Donohue who unleashed a powerful shot, but Erin Mills Goalkeeper Jo Mazie stood her ground with a strong save.

With a chance to break the scoring on a quick counterattack, London's Brooke Anderson could not give her team the lead on a 1v1 with the Eagle's keeper.

The games opening goal would finally come with only seven minutes left, when Erin Mills Jahkeyah Davis muscled her defender off the ball and fired a shot past the London keeper

A few moments before full time, Mera Saleh would give Erin Mills a second goal to secure the 2-0 victory for the Eagles.
