Ontario Soccer sent six squads to the Canada Soccer Toyota National Championships 2022, and three came home with hardware, while the other three squads just missed out on medals as well.

In the U15 Cup, the London Alliance FC Mustangs (Girls) and the Thornhill Bolts (Boys) both finished 4th, as did the  U17 Glen Shield Juventus FC (Boys) squad in the U17 Cup.

Caledon United FC (Girls) secured Ontario's first medal at the 2022 National Championships, picking up Silver in the U17 Cup.

London Alliance FC Galaxy Women's squad picked up Ontario's second medal, with another Silver in the Jubilee Trophy finals.

Ontario Soccer fans celebrated again, when in the final match of the Canada Soccer National Championships, Ottawa Gloucester Celtic Men's squad scored two goals in the span of two minutes, securing the Gold Medal and Challenge Trophy championship.

Ottawa Gloucester Celtic men’s soccer team won their second Challenge Trophy as the Ontario-based club beat Edmonton Green & Gold at the 2022 Toyota National Championships.
