Launch of Nothers – Team It Up Grassroots Soccer Support Program

Further boosted by the recent historic qualification of the Canadian Men’s National Team to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ after a long 36 year wait, the excitement for the upcoming Outdoor Season 2022 is reaching a fever pitch. Ontario Soccer continues to look for additional ways to support our member organizations to ensure that Everyone is Welcome to be part of the excitement and join the soccer family in 2022.

With deep insights from its long-standing client relationships in the youth and amateur sport space and having consulted with many sports organizations in recent months, Nothers – The Award Store understands all too well the challenges soccer organizations are faced with. Dealing with some residual budgetary impacts and lingering uncertainty after the last two years, many organizations may still be reticent to make significant commitments to ordering medals, trophies and other recognition products.

Trying to keep volunteers engaged and motivated, intensifying match official recruitment efforts and getting ready for all aspects of the Outdoor Season is a tall order. Both Nothers – The Award Store and Ontario Soccer know that thriving grassroots organizations are the backbone of our efforts to rebuild our sport.

Therefore, Ontario Soccer is partnering with Nothers – The Award Store, to bring you the Team It Up program, an exciting cost savings opportunity for the 2022-23 season to our member Districts, Clubs and Leagues to support grassroots soccer across the Province by providing a subsidy to help your organization with award expenses to bring you some budget relief during this recovery season.

Nothers – The Award Store specializes in personalized awards programs that your organization can implement, even on a short timeline. If you do not want to rush into an awards program without knowing what final registration numbers are going to be like, this program provides you with the necessary flexibility. By operating on a 4–6-week production timeline Nothers – The Award Store ensures you get the awards when you need them.

Under the Ontario Soccer umbrella, the more organizations that participate and Team It Up to take advantage of this great program, the more each individual medal will be subsidized. Think of it as organizations teaming up together along with Ontario Soccer to get the best price for medals possible.

As an added benefit and to really support your organization’s volunteer recognition program, Nothers – The Award Store has graciously agreed to apply $100.00 in credit towards volunteer recognition awards for every $500.00 spent on organization-specific awards.

The Value to Participating Organizations:

  • If your organization participates in the Team It Up program, Ontario Soccer will be providing a subsidy for your awards program;
  • Nothers – The Awards Store’s Team It Up program ensures a quick turnaround for late purchase order decisions;
  • Member organizations participating in the Team It Up program will also have the opportunity to get $100 credit toward their volunteer recognition program for every $500 spent on Organization-specific awards;
  • Of course, Nothers – The Awards Store can show you how to run an effective recognition program!
