Play. Inspire. Unite.
Ontario Soccer continues to work in consultation with the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries as we communicate important government directives and updates related to the current global pandemic.
The Government of Ontario announced on Feb. 14, 2022 that it is relaxing public health measures, in response to the recent status of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of those changes, effective Mar. 1, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. the Government of Ontario will remove the remaining capacity limits for sport and recreational fitness facilities.
As well, effective Mar. 1, 2022, the Government of Ontario has announced it is lifting proof of vaccination requirements for all sport and recreational fitness settings.
Masking requirements for indoor facilities remain in place at this time.
As a result of this announcement, for those that access the Ontario Soccer Centre, you will no longer require proof of vaccination for general entry or to actively participate.
Organizations are encouraged to develop their own Return to Play plans in accordance with the Government of Ontario and their local Public Health Unit.
Ontario Soccer’s Return to Play Guide has been updated.
