Play. Inspire. Unite.

Ontario Soccer continues to work in consultation with Canada Soccer and the Government of Ontario, as we manage Return to Play 2021. We will keep the membership updated with the most recent developments surrounding Ontario Soccer’s Return to Play Plan.

Yesterday, the Government of Quebec announced, that effective Sept 1, 2021, they will be implementing a requirement for all sporting activities, outdoor and indoor, to show proof of full vaccination (two doses of Government of Canada approved vaccines) of players aged 12 years and older. At this time, this requirement only pertains to players.

For anyone outside the province, such as our Ontario member organization teams travelling into Quebec to participate in sports competition, the requirement by the Government of Quebec is to show proof of vaccination from your provincial Ministry of Health. Players who cannot show proof of vaccination will not be permitted by Soccer Quebec and/or their membership to compete in their province.

If you did not receive a Government of Ontario vaccine receipt in person or by email you can contact the Provincial Vaccine Information Line at 1-888-999-6488 (TTY 1-866-797-0007) or contact your local public health unit.

Ontario Soccer continues to closely monitor this subject within Ontario and will advise our membership of any directives provided by the Government of Ontario.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Ontario Soccer Help Desk.
