Play. Inspire. Unite.
Ontario Soccer is providing an update on the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program in Ontario for 2021 and at this time a new application window for the “Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program” remains closed until further notice.
While monitoring the status of Return to Play across the Province, Ontario Soccer is assessing the strategy and plan to re-open the window of applications to the program.
Ontario Soccer will communicate the necessary requirements and timelines to membership and provide sufficient notice to organizations before opening a new application window. Until then, Ontario Soccer are encouraging organizations interested in applying to review the resources available on OntarioSoccer.net.
This notice also applies to organizations seeking a National Youth Club Licence, the highest level of the Club Licensing program, and, by extension, seeking to join the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL), Ontario Soccer’s youth standards based high performance program.
The next opportunity to apply to enter the OPDL will open in 2022 for entry in the 2023 Outdoor Season. The necessary requirements, timelines and process for the submission of new applications to join the OPDL will be provided early in 2022.
If you have any further questions about the process, please contact Matt Ferreira
