Play. Inspire. Unite.

Ontario Soccer’s Play ON! eLearning Series presented by Respect in Sport continues on Thursday, March 18 with an insightful presentation by a panel of technical experts featuring Natalie Bukovec (Head Coach, Ryerson Rams), Anthony Capotosto (Academy Director, TFC Academy), Radoslaw Bella (U17 Head Coach, Slask Wroctaw) and Joey Lombardi (Director of Player and Coach Development, Brampton SC) and moderated by Ontario Soccer’s Bryan Rosenfeld (Interim Director, Soccer Operations).

At a time, when Ontario Soccer member organizations everywhere are carefully transitioning back from a virtual training environment to returning to the training pitch, our experts will share their unique insights from within the Club, (professional) Academy and College environments highlighting best practices they have used to tackle the development challenges COVID has presented us all with over the last 12 months.

Each presenter will outline some key adaptations in technical training they had to make during the pandemic. They will also have an opportunity to highlight virtual best practices including reporting and testing to enhance the technical development for the players under their care and share other practical tips on how to safely Return to Play for youth players

At the end of all the presentations the panel will also explore how they have managed the mental health of their athletes during COVID, as well as going forward.

Throughout the series from March 10 to April 29, Ontario Soccer will offer a weekly online session with succinct and relevant insights and practical take-aways designed to appeal to a diverse cross-section of Ontario Soccer members and stakeholders (Clubs, Academies, Districts, Leagues, administrators, coaches, managers, volunteers, parents, players, officials, etc.).
