Ontario Soccer are now exploring the opportunity to expand that relationship, to provide all of our members with free access to the proposed RESPECT Knowledge Network (RKN) hosted by Respect Group.

Play. Inspire. Unite.

Ontario Soccer, in consultation with Canada Soccer and the Government of Ontario, continues to monitor the most recent developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the resulting public health crisis and Ontario Soccer’s Return to Play Plan.

The unprecedented challenges, which we all have been confronted with during this difficult time, have shown that our community is strongest, when we work together. Collaboration, sharing of best practices and looking out for each other have been critical success factors in allowing us to collectively progress to Return to Play – Phase 2. To continue on this path of community-minded teamwork, Ontario Soccer would like to ask for your feedback on a new concept: The RESPECT Knowledge Network.

Ontario Soccer has had a close partnership with Respect Group, providers of the RESPECT programming to our soccer community since 2012.

Ontario Soccer are now exploring the opportunity to expand that relationship, to provide all of our members with free access to the proposed RESPECT Knowledge Network (RKN) hosted by Respect Group.

This online community will be the “go-to place” for shared knowledge and access to resources regarding the prevention of Bullying, Abuse, Harassment and Discrimination (BAHD behaviours) and the associated impacts on mental health.

The RKN will provide a collaborative approach to support, guidance and best practices through a hub of information, which will include; Webinars, Interviews, Podcasts, Blogs, Expert Opinions, Curated Research, and more. It will connect organizations and individuals involved in sport, schools and the workplace and leverage these tools/resources for continued culture change and personal growth.

Your feedback through this very short, two-minute Survey, will help us gauge your interest and validate the potential for Ontario Soccer’s involvement in the RKN.

The survey is live now and will close on Friday, October 30. Please take the Ontario Soccer Survey now and thank you for your participation.
