Ontario Soccer, in consultation with Canada Soccer and governmental advisors, continues to monitor the most recent developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the resulting public health crisis.

Ontario Soccer has made significant progress towards Phase 3, including the recent announcement of “Phase 2 – Enhanced Format for Modified Games”, the current circumstances allow Community Coaching Workshop hosts to conduct practical, in-person training education.

Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce that starting on Sept. 18, 2020 the Community Coaching Workshop hosts are now able to commence the coordination of the practical, in-person, training component.

Community Coaching Workshop hosts can access the Safety Guide for Coach Education on the Ontario Soccer Host a Coaching Course webpage.

The Safety Guide for Coach Education includes: Recommendations for Workshop Hosts, Recommendations and Guidelines for Workshop Participants, Recommendations and Guidelines for Parents of Youth Participants, Recommendations and Guidelines for Learning Facilitators, as well as Equipment Safety and Cleaning and more.
