The Provincial Indoor Soccer League (PISL) has announced that it has opened registration for the 2020-21 Indoor Season.
The PISL offers 11-a-side and 6-a-side indoor soccer for U-13 to U-21 divisions for both girls and boys from sanctioned Clubs and Academies.
Ontario Soccer is presently in Phase 2 of Return to Play, which allows for age and stage appropriate modified games.
This continues to be an ever-evolving situation and as such, the PISL is preparing to operate under a competition structure that is permitted at the time of indoor season launch by Ontario Soccer in alignment with the Government of Ontario emergency orders and directives.
League play, if permitted, will begin October 17, 2020.
The main hub of the league is The Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan. Games will also be played at five other facilities across Southern Ontario, giving the league a wide area to draw top-level competition from. All games of a bi-weekly schedule will be played on either Saturday or Sunday and are officiated by an Ontario Soccer qualified referee and two assistant referees.
The season will also include a March Break Tournament hosted at the Ontario Soccer Centre. The team registration fee for 11-a-side is $4,050 with $1,000 deposit required at the time of application and $2,550 for 6-a-side. Applications without the required deposit will be considered incomplete until payment is received.
If league play is suspended prior to the start of the PISL season due an Ontario Government Order, all league fees will be refunded in full.
