Ontario Soccer, in consultation with Canada Soccer and governmental advisors, continues to monitor the most recent developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and are assessing operations and deciding cancellations and postponements on a month-to-month basis as the pandemic continues to unfold.

At the present time, Ontario Soccer has not been provided through the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, direction on Return to Play safety protocol or guidelines and as such all activities regarding the administration of the 2020 Ontario Cup will be paused until a date has been established.

As a result, the 2020 Ontario Cup Draw, which was scheduled to be held on May 26, 2020 will be postponed to a date to be determined once Return to Play protocols have been established.

The new draw date will be communicated to participating teams at that time.

Ontario Soccer will continue to plan for the Ontario Cup utilizing the various contingency plans that have been prepared.  The Contingency Plans on OntarioSoccer.net.

Unfortunately, due to the current situation with COVID-19 and the low enrolment numbers, the U-21 Men’s and Women’s divisions of the Ontario Cup will not be played in 2020.

For those teams that have registered but have not yet made payment for the 2020 Ontario Cup, please contact the Manager of Finance, Mythily Sasiharan for payment options.
