The Ontario Provincial Government’s COVID-19 Amateur Sport and Recreation Panel, has requested your organization’s additional support by completing an online survey specific to the economic impacts of COVID-19 on your organization.

Play. Inspire. Unite.

Ontario Soccer, in consultation with Canada Soccer and governmental advisors, continues to monitor the most recent developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and are assessing operations and deciding cancelations and postponements on a month-to-month basis as the pandemic continues to unfold.

As a follow up to the Ontario Soccer Return to Play Survey, which closes May 11, 2020, the Ontario Provincial Government’s COVID-19 Amateur Sport and Recreation Panel, has requested your organization’s additional support by completing an online survey specific to the economic impacts of COVID-19 on your organization.

Data collected will better help the Provincial Government of Ontario understand the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the amateur sport and recreation sectors in Ontario and will be used to inform the production of a final report to the Hon. Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries.

The survey can be accessed online, and should take about 45 - 60 minutes to complete.

Please complete it no later than May 15, 2020 to assist the Amateur Sport and Recreation Panel in making timely recommendations on sport in Ontario.

The survey should be completed only once per organization and by an individual at the senior management level, who has a deep understanding of your organization’s operations. This includes responding to important financial questions with information on your organization’s operational budget.

All answers submitted will be anonymous, unless identifying information is otherwise disclosed by the respondent. Your organization’s information will be held in confidence by the Panel and the Ministry and will not be disclosed outside of the Panel, and the Ministry.

If the Panel intends to provide any identifying information as part of the Minister’s final report, organizations will be notified and contacted for permission in advance.
