The U-16 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup featured Alliance FC London taking on Prostars FC.
Both sides faced one another on the Saturday tournament round, with Alliance coming away with a 3-0 victory.
Both sides would advance to the semi-finals with the Prostars beating Scarborough Wexford Dynamite on penalties while Alliance downed Peterborough 4-0.
Alliance would pick up where they left off against Prostars as Adam Kanji smashed in an opening minute goal to give his side the early lead.
Both sides would trade chances over the course of the first half but neither side would be able to find a way through.
Just as Alliance had started the first half on the front foot, so too did Prostars as the second half began.
Playing with a man advantage, following a late first half yellow to Alliance, Prostars’ Brayden Praticante blasted a shot from outside the box that fooled the keeper and knotted the game at 1-1.
Alliance would answer right back though as Jovan Ivanisevic got on the end of a clever cross into the box and made it 2-1.
Alliance would close up shop defensively the rest of the way and capture the U-16 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup
