The U-14 Girls Ontario Indoor Cup final featured the Erin Mills Eagles taking on the Dorchehter SC Alliance.
Erin Mills went undefeated in group stage play, before defeating Richmond Hill SC 5-0 in the semi-finals to book their spot in Sunday’s final.
Dorchester didn’t allow a goal in their first three games of the weekend and edged the Thunder Bay Chill 3-1 in the semi-finals to advance to the championship match
Jahkaya Davis got things going early for Erin Mills when her shot in the second minute went bar down and she gave her side an early 1-0 lead.
Davis would increase Erin Mills lead in the final minute of the first half, as her low shot beat the Dorchester keeper to give Erin Mills a 2-0 lead heading into the break.
Fiyi Adenuga would secure the shutout for Erin Mills, as they shut things down defensively the rest of the way and secured the U-14 Girls Ontario Indoor Cup title.
