Ontario Soccer would like to remind the membership and clarify team eligibility for the Sahlen’s Super Series, which is a series of indoor competition weekends hosted in New York State by the Sahlen’s Sports Park.

According to Ontario Soccer Operational Procedures Section 8.0, Procedure 2.0 – Tournament Definitions:

2.1 A Tournament shall consist of a series of games:

• a) involving Under-13 or older aged teams;
• b) played within no more than seven (7) consecutive days or over no more than three (3) weekends during a playing season;
• c) between a minimum of 4 teams.

Again this year, Sahlen's is offering a choice of registration for three tournament weekends or for four tournament weekends.

As stipulated in the rule above, Ontario Soccer defines a tournament as being played over no more than three (3) weekends, and as such, District Associations can only provide permission to travel for no more than three weekend registrations. Four weekend tournaments are not permitted.
