Matt Greenwood, the Executive Director of Pickering Soccer will host the upcoming webinar All Abilities in Soccer – Where to Start. Greenwood is a passionate advocate for the inclusion and accessibility of soccer in all forms. He has previously developed innovative All Abilities soccer programs in the UK back in 2003 and achieved his first certification as an All Abilities Football Coach in 2002. In 2006, Matt moved to Ontario and began assisting clubs with the development of their programs in this area.

During his time as a Club Development Manager with Ontario Soccer, accessible programs in Clubs grew from 5 representatives to 19. Matt has been the Executive Director of Pickering Soccer Club since October 2016 and he also coaches the Pickering Soccer Club Blind Soccer team and in his spare time volunteers with Ontario Blind Sport to further grow the number of blind soccer programs in Ontario.

Clubs offering All Abilities programs for athletes hit an all-time high in 2015 with 19 clubs from Windsor to Ottawa and Sudbury in the northern part of Ontario. This webinar will look at the basic steps of how to establish a program but more importantly the 'why' around inclusive and accessible programming.

This webinar is intended for anyone designated in a club to lead program development or inclusion, or for anyone with a real passion for All Abilities sport.
