Five Ontario teams qualify for the Toyota National Championships

Six Ontario Cup divisions wrapped up competition on an exciting weekend in Vaughan

Play. Inspire. Unite. 

The Ontario Cup Finals came to a conclusion for six divisions over the weekend at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan.

What began as over 600 teams and 12,000 athletes, was now down to a final two teams competing for the provincial Soccer For Life titles.

The winners of five of those divisions will now move on as Ontario's representative at the Toyota National Championships.

The U-15 Toyota National Championship will be held in Edmonton, Alberta. The U-17 nationals will be held in Charlottetown, PEI, while the Women's Jubliiee Trophy and Men's Challenge Trophy will be contested for in St. John's, Newfoundland.

The U-15 Girls Ontario Cup final is still to be decided and will be played Sept. 15, along with the remaining divisions for the Soccer for Life Provincial Soccer Championship, which is the largest Club competition of its kind in Canada.
