Circle K Celebrates Soccer


Circle K 2 v 2 Grassroots Festivals

Our famous 2 v 2 festivals are back! Building on the enormous success of the 2019 series, Circle K and Ontario Soccer are thrilled to be delivering another series of festivals during the 2025 Outdoor Season.

What:

The Circle K 2v2 Festival Series revives the innovative small-sided game format to maximize fun, excitement and touches on the ball over a one-hour period on a specially modified soccer field, which has been sub-divided into 16 smaller quadrants.

Teams of two will enjoy about 40 minutes of playing time, rotating in a ladder style play every 5 minutes, as well as 3 minute recovery transitions, icebreakers, dance parties, sideline contests, swag, prizes and refreshments.

Who:

Girls and boys in the dual-banded U8/U9, as well as U10/11 age. Participants can be from within or outside the Ontario Soccer community - they do not need to be a member to take part.

All 2v2 Festivals will run from 10:00am - 2:00pm - date and location details below:

  • Saturday, July 5, 2025 – Joe Sams Leisure Park, Flamborough (Co-Hosted by Flamborough Dundas SC)
  • Saturday, July 12, 2025 – Maple Leaf Park, Cavan (Co-Hosted by Maple Leaf Cavan FC)
  • Sunday, July 13, 2025 – The Honourable James Jerome Sports Complex, Sudbury (Co-Hosted by Greater Sudbury SC)
  • Sunday, July 20, 2025 – Centennial Park Soccer Fields, Quinte West (Co-Hosted by Quinte West SC)
  • Saturday, July 26, 2025 – Chatham Christian School, Chatham (Co-Hosted by Chatham Youth Soccer)
  • Friday, August 22, 2025- Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre, Vaughan
  • Saturday, August 23, 2025- Pat Beasley Fields, Brockville (Co-Hosted by Brockville SC)

Cost:

The cost for attending this one-of-a-kind event is FREE, compliments of our proud Premier Partners from Circle K.

  • Each person wishing to enter the 2025 Circle K 2v2 Festival MUST complete a registration form.

Circle K Celebration Festival Grants

Ontario Soccer and Circle K are pleased to partnered in this important initiative for Ontario Soccer Member Clubs. This hosting grant is intended to support an existing year-end Festival that your organization is hosting, by providing budget relief and funding to enhance the participant experience. 

2025 WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

The Circle K Celebration Festival Grant program is aimed at supporting grassroots soccer initiatives across the province. This initiative, made possible through the generous support of our Premier Partners Circle K, aims to bolster local soccer communities and enhance the development of young athletes. Last years program was an overwhelming success that impacted over 90,000 soccer community members including grassroots participants, coaches and spectators.


CIRCLE K ALL ABILITIES FESTIVALS

Circle K and Ontario Soccer are excited to partner with three member Clubs to deliver Accessible Soccer Festivals over three dates in the summer of 2025!

Who:

Supporting participants of varying abilities, this Festival is for youth with special needs, physical disabilities, or developmental disabilities. Participants can be from within or outside the Ontario Soccer community - they do not need to be a member to take part.

When:

  • Sunday, July 13- Toronto
  • Sunday, August 17- Pickering
  • Saturday, September 13- Newmarket

Cost:

The cost for attending this one-of-a-kind event is FREE, compliments of our proud Premier Partners from Circle K.

Circle K Match Official Program

As a supporter of youth, Circle K is proud to partner with Ontario Soccer to deliver programming directed at young match officials. Supporting their journey from the start of their officiating career, Circle K is providing funds to ensure they got off to the right start.

The role of the Long Term Official Development program is to improve refereeing standards throughout Ontario by recruiting, educating, developing, and supporting Match Officials.

Through collaboration with Member Clubs and with the generous support of Circle K, Ontario Soccer is able to provide Match Officials with tailored on-field and in-class education to support our recruitment and retention strategy
