BMO GIRLS PLAY ON!
A free, one-day soccer event for young women and girls, presented by BMO.
Who can coach?
U16 and U17 Girls (born 2009 and 2008)
Interested in being a soccer coach? You can get certified for free through BMO Girls Play ON! Morning workshops will be offered to a handful of U16 and U17 girls. By the afternoon, participants will put their new coaching skills to use in a 3v3 style tournament.

Who can play?
U7 and U8 girls (born 2018 and 2017)
During the afternoon session, Girls in the U7 and U8 age divisions will split into small teams for a 3v3 FunFest. Each group will be assigned a newly-trained coach for the afternoon. Participants will also receive a free t-shirt and BMO swag bag!

Why participate?
BMO Girls Play ON! is an innovative new girls’ soccer activation and leadership day, engaging girls through coaching and playing opportunities.
The program will create a safe and inclusive environment where girls can:
- Enjoy a social setting;
- Play the game they love;
- Learn about coaching;
- Mentor and mentee with girl coaches and facilitators.
By participating in this program, girls will be inspired to stay in soccer longer. They will also aspire to continue their soccer career in other avenues than simply playing (coaching, refereeing, volunteering, etc.).
Ontario Soccer and BMO are excited to be part of a welcoming and inclusive new program, and are looking forward to fostering many positive outcomes for the participants. These outcomes include an active lifestyle choice for girls and women, certified youth women leaders and coaches at the club and community level, a shift in mentality around what opportunities are available, and most importantly, inspired girls and women.
BMO Kids Play ON! Youth Festival
New program just added!! BMO and Ontario Soccer are excited to partner with Thunder Bay Chill to deliver this event to the youth in the north!

The cost for attending this one-of-a-kind event is FREE, compliments of our proud Premier Partners from BMO. Members and non-members welcome!
