A free, one-day soccer event for young women and girls, presented by BMO.

U16 - U21 Young Women

Interested in being a soccer coach? You can get certified for free through BMO Girls Play ON! Morning workshops will be offered to a handful of U16-U21 young women. By the afternoon, participants will put their new coaching skills to use in a 3v3 style tournament.

U7 and U8 Girls

During the afternoon session, Girls in the U7 and U8 age divisions will split into small teams for a 3v3 FunFest. Each group will be assigned a newly-trained coach for the afternoon. Participants will also receive a free t-shirt and BMO swag bag!

BMO Girls Play ON! is an innovative new girls’ soccer activation and leadership day, engaging girls through coaching and playing opportunities.

The program will create a safe and inclusive environment where girls can:

• Enjoy a social setting;
• Play the game they love;
• Learn about coaching;
• Mentor and mentee with girl coaches and facilitators.

By participating in this program, girls will be inspired to stay in soccer longer. They will also aspire to continue their soccer career in other avenues than simply playing (coaching, refereeing, volunteering, etc.).

BMO Kids Play ON! is currently in its second year and takes the innovative program of BMO Girls Play ON! and engages both boys and girls to create this exciting co-ed event

What:
A groundbreaking 3v3 Grassroots FunFest, presented by BMO! Players will be coached by newly trained young coaches in the soccer community! And, in addition to play time in the 3v3 format, all participants will receive a fun BMO swag bag to take home!

Who:

Boys and girls in the U7 and U8 age divisions can take part in this FunFest. Participants can be from within or outside the Ontario Soccer community - they do not need to be a member to take part.

When:

All FunFests run from 1:00pm - 3:00pm
